Based in Brentwood, TN, the QHR Cares Foundation supports rural communities across the US and is also active in the middle-Tennessee area.
Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury (HFHWM) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and ecumenical Christian ministry that partners with local families in need and donors to build stable, safe homes and sell them with an affordable mortgage. HFHWM was fully incorporated as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International on December 5, 1992. They have built more than 250 homes in Williamson and Maury Counties and continue to build 10-12 new homes per year.
Organizations with a well-defined sense of purpose, a demonstrated commitment to maximizing available resources, and a history of delivering quality services and meeting objectives are highly encouraged to apply.
New applicants are asked to complete a preliminary one- to two-page letter of inquiry to the Foundation to ensure that the proposed project, organization, and goals align with QHR Cares Foundation priorities. Please describe the proposed project, its goals and objectives, and the approximate level of funding required. To be considered for a grant, please allow sufficient time (approximately 2 weeks) for Foundation staff to review and follow up with the applicant organization.

Organizations that receive funding greater than $5,000 will be asked to submit outcome through online semi-annual and final progress reports.

To help meet this critical need, our scholarship program provides financial support for students pursuing healthcare careers. Our program empowers students to take the next step toward their desired professions and ensure the future of good health in rural communities.

The purpose of the QHR Cares Fund is to help QHR Health employees and their immediate families who are affected by financial hardship. This includes natural disaster, extended illness/injury, domestic violence, death of a loved one and other difficult situations.
Only eligible QHR Health colleagues may receive assistance through the Cares Fund, based on set criteria for events causing a financial hardship for the colleague. To be eligible for assistance from the fund, you must meet all requirements:
